영국시험관 7.0-9.0 모범답안
At my age, I have acquired some important skills, one of which is driving. I reckon driving is a must have skill because you can drive yourself to whatever destination you want if you are in possession of a car.
I was probably 20 years old when I first sat on the wheels to learn driving. The instructor was my dad who is an experienced driver and he wanted to teach me driving without paying a penny to a driving school.
The main reason behind this was that, back then, I got admission into the university and my dad wanted me to drive myself to my new school.
There are a couple reasons why I learned driving. First, my university was quite a long way away from our family home and my parents didn't want me to commute on public transport. Besides that, neither my dad nor mum had time to drop me off to school as they were all busy with their hectic work. As a result, the only way was for me to learn how to drive myself about.
To be honest with you, I was really thrilled by the prospect of driving a car. Not only was it convenient, but it was also a way for me to be on level terms with the majority of my schoolmates who were all having cars. So, among all the practical skills I have learned, driving is one that stands out.
What is the most important practical skill in modern society?
Off the top of my head, I can pinpoint creativity which factors into my list. Creativity isn't just a valuable learning pursuit, but it's also vital to succeed in school and in the workplace Secondly, problem solving skill is also crucial. As we live, we have to be able to solve real world problems in order to survive and thrive in the present and future. Another useful ability is leadership skills. After all, one who leads isn't just one who manages things. What a leader does is to inspire, motivate, and empower.
What kinds of skills are difficult to learn?
Well, among the tough skills that are not easy to come by, I will say time management is one of them. You see, the key to success in the workplace as well as in our personal lives depends on how we manage our time. Without proper time management you cannot meet your personal goals or finish your work on time. Another skill I consider important is being consistent. Whether you’re trying a new exercise routine, studying for Ielts, or working on an important project, consistency is vital to maintaining any kind of success. On this list, I would like to add learning a second language which is practical and rewarding to help keep you mentally sharp.
